Levels, Classes and Parties

InformationValue
ClassesDark Knight, Dark Wizard, Fairy Elf, Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord, Summoner and Rage Fighter
Party sizeUp to 5 players
Master progressionLevel 400, third-class advancement and eligible monsters
Minimum monster level for Master EXP95
Magic Gladiator unlockAccount character level 220
Dark Lord unlockAccount character level 250
Rage Fighter unlockUnder review: the game-server configurations differ

Class quests remain part of progression. Energy Elf and Agility Elf are different builds of the same class. Class buffs remain part of the game; free NPC and bot buffs are not part of the server rules. A level-400 character does not earn Master EXP from every low-level monster.

Free and VIP — Fair Progression

InformationValue
Normal EXPFree and VIP Bronze 1x · VIP Silver +5% · VIP Gold +10%
Master EXP and dropsSame for every account tier
Crafting chancesSame configured chances for Free and VIP
Combat equipment for cashNot part of the server rules
VIP combat and stat bonusesNot part of the server rules
Warehouse and offline-store limitsBeing verified; previous tier-specific limits have been withdrawn

VIP adds convenience, cosmetics and a small normal-EXP bonus; it does not change drops, crafting chances or combat power. Do not rely on the former 1/2/3/4 warehouse or 4/8/12/16-hour store tables: those values are not supported by the current configuration. Package terms must match the verified features before purchase.

Equipment, Drops and Starter Shops

InformationValue
Starter shopsBasic class equipment, selected starter skills and consumables
Jewels in NPC shopsNot sold
Top skillsObtained through the relevant hunting sources
Equipment progressionNormal, Excellent, Ancient, Socket and eligible level-380 equipment
Equipment from boxesNormal equipment +0 or +1 for your class; never Excellent, Ancient or Socket
Excellent, Ancient and Socket sourcesExcellent: rare from monsters and from bosses · Ancient: bosses and Chaos Castle · Socket: Selupan
WingsFollow the crafting progression; not a general hunting reward

Boxes give progression, not shortcuts: their equipment is at most +1 and never Excellent. Excellent, Ancient and Socket equipment come from the sources listed under Drops, Boxes and Bosses. Zen, jewels and crafting materials have different roles; the global item-drop setting is not the chance for a specific jewel or Excellent item.

Drops, Boxes and Bosses

Every source has one role: monsters give everyday loot and boxes, invasions give Box of Kundun, events give jewels, and bosses are the main source of Excellent, Ancient and Socket equipment. All chances are the same for Free and VIP accounts.

PvP, Duels, Gens and PvE

Combat on ANASTARIA is designed to be readable: a fight should take long enough for you to see it coming, react and understand why it ended. Burst sources and crowd control are capped, and every damage-reduction source shares the same ceiling.

Damage by combat type

InformationValue
Open-world PvP / PK100%
Duel100% — the same as open-world PvP, so a duel shows real PvP strength
Gens battles80% — group fights with buffs last a little longer
Chaos Castle / Illusion Temple / Arena50%
PvE (monsters)100% for every class; PvP class rates do not affect monsters
Shield (SD)90% of incoming PvP damage hits SD first, so a falling SD bar is your warning

Class balance in PvP

InformationValue
Dark Wizard, Fairy Elf, Summoner125% PvP damage
Magic Gladiator100% PvP damage
Dark Knight, Dark Lord, Rage Fighter75% PvP damage
Damage dealt to a Dark Knight+5% to +20% depending on the attacker class (Dark Knights have the highest life per point)

These rates were calculated from the server damage, defence, life and hit-rate formulas for typical level-400 builds without resets. They are starting values: duel results will be reviewed and the rates adjusted in small steps.

Caps on burst and protection

InformationValue
Critical / Excellent damage chanceMaximum 30% each
Double / Triple damage chanceMaximum 10% / 5%
Damage reduction (all sources)Maximum 50%
Mana ShieldMaximum 50%
ReflectMaximum 40%; in PvP 80% of the reflected amount is returned
Summoner curses against playersMaximum 30% (40% against monsters)

PK statusPersonal Store disabled; no entry to Blood Castle, Chaos Castle or Devil Square
Item loss on PK deathSwitched off in the current configuration; awaiting in-game confirmation

InformationValue

Energy Elf buffsGreater Damage about 3 + Energy/7, Greater Defense about 2 + Energy/8, 60 seconds, castable on any party member
Rage Fighter buffsFitness up to +200 Vitality, Defense Success Rate up to +50%, Ignore Defense up to 10%
ComboConfigured for every class using the classic three-skill sequence

Values configured on 31 October 2026 ; they apply after the next game-server restart and are still being confirmed in game. The Castle Siege game server uses the same combat values. Read the PvP guide under Guides & Tutorials for details.

Combat Rules and Test Status

InformationValue
PvP / PvE / duelsConfigured on 31 October 2026 — see "PvP, Duels, Gens and PvE" above; duel tests continue
Energy ElfA support build with native class buffs
Excellent optionsDifferent effects; not one universal damage multiplier
PK and death penaltiesFollow game behaviour while the detailed loss rules are being reconciled
Outstanding checksRage Fighter unlock, event timezone, trading recovery and selected client interfaces

Comparable equipment and level are needed for meaningful combat tests. Configured values are not a claim that every matchup has been proven balanced. Do not rely on the former blanket promise of no equipment loss on death until the PK and item rules have been fully checked. Detailed instructions are available under Guides & Tutorials.

Attack & OffAttack

AccountMaximum durationCommand activation

Your account level determines the duration. Activation costs no Zen or Anastaria Coins. These duration settings apply to both /attack and /offattack; they are not a daily allowance.

Start with /attack, then use /offattack to continue attacking offline. While offline, OffAttack earns 50% of normal EXP (VIP Silver 52%, VIP Gold 55%) and has no item-drop bonus; Master EXP stays 3x. OffHelper is a separate feature and is not enabled.
